Fly Software Limited was established in 2006 by two work colleagues, both with extensive software development, technical writing and website design experience.

With its headquarters in Taunton, United Kingdom, Fly Software initially began developing and supplying form design and form filling software. It now specialises in VAT submission and automation products, and provides a comprehensive range of services to organisations across the globe.

Our History

Works starts on a major Chimpeon update that fixes a number of issues and introduces a macro recorder and different ways to send keystrokes and mouse clicks to a game.

2023
Easy MTD VAT gets a rewrite to comply with HMRC connectivity changes and to make submitting VAT returns to HMRC even easier. The number of submissions by Easy MTD VAT exceeds 20,000 making it one of the most used Making Tax Digital for VAT bridging solutions for Windows.

2022
Batch Star development is temporarily halted due to Covid-19 and instead work starts on a new version of Chimpeon. The Chimpeon project is a complete rewrite and is aimed at making huge improvements to performance and ease of configuration, as well as introducing many new game automation features.

2020
Easy MTD VAT is approved by HMRC then launched. The software enables businesses and agents to view VAT obligations, liabilities and payments, and submit VAT returns in compliance with HMRC's Making Tax Digital for VAT scheme.

2019
Work starts on Easy MTD VAT in preparation for the HMRC Making Tax Digital deadline of 01 April 2019 where businesses must submit their VAT return data digitally using approved software.

2018
Work starts on Batch Star, a Windows application that automates the processing of files. The software monitors folders for files and when found performs one or more processes on them using their native application. Tasks such as batch printing and batch conversion can be automatically performed on any number of files.

2017
Chimpeon is launched and provides users with the ability to automate many actions in almost any Windows game. The software becomes popular with MMORPG players allowing them to perform combat rotations and limit the time spent performing normally mudane or repetitive in-game tasks.

2016
Due to users mistaking iFORM for an Apple product, iFORM is renamed to InForm. The ability to create HTML forms is also added, making InForm a one stop shop for creating e-forms, paper forms and web forms.

2011
Alt&Title is launched and provides web designers with a quick and automated method for applying alt and title attributes to elements within their web pages. Alt&Title is no longer available.

2010
iFORM is launched and provides businesses and individuals with a simple and cost-effective way of designing e-forms and paper forms. The software has a design element and a filler element enabling users to create and fill in forms with ease.

2008
Fly Software Limited is born and our flysoftware.com domain name is registered. Work starts on our first software product, iFORM, and the website.
