HMRC Give Easy MTD VAT the Thumbs Up
Yesterday we streamed a demo of Easy MTD VAT to HMRC and within 30 minutes they gave it the thumbs up!
After months of development and internal testing, Easy MTD VAT yesterday reached the stage where HMRC review the software to ensure it meets their strict Making Tax Digital requirements. Following a 30 minute streamed demonstration between one of our developers and a representative of HMRC, Easy MTD VAT was given the thumbs up.
Changes are now being made to Easy MTD VAT so it communicates with HMRC's live system instead of their sandbox (testing) environment. All being well, there should be a fully functional version available to download and use this week.
