How can I get filled in form content to align correctly on pre-printed forms?
Almost every printer will position its output slightly diiferently on a page. This means printing filled in form content on to pre-printed forms can be extremely problematic. Content may align perfectly for one make and model of printer but not for another, making it almost impossible for form designers to create forms that work for any printer.
InForm Designer and InForm Filler both have a Printer Offset feature that allows horizontal (x) and vertical (y) offset configurations to be created. Each configuration is associated with an installed printer, and is used to move the printed form content up or down, and left or right on pre-printed forms so it aligns perfectly. When a Printer Offset is created it can be selected prior to printing filled in form content on to a pre-printed form.
